Rehabilitation Program: GGHDC has an
ongoing program of renovating single family houses for first time
home buyers. The home buyer's household income must fall within
80% of median income. Subsidy grants are awarded toward closing
costs.
GGHDC
installs new plumbing, electrical systems, windows, doors, roofs,
kitchens, baths, paint and carpet. Homebuyers must qualify
for mortgage financing with a conventional lender. The sales prices
range between $50,000 and $140,000. View

Cricket Court Townhouses:
GGHDC
is developing the third and final phase of our Cricket Court Town
Houses. This phase includes 16 units of home ownership townhouses
in southwest Germantown. The units have three bedrooms,
two and one half baths, two car garages and central air conditioning.
Sales
prices range between $95,400 and $113,500, depending on the homebuyer's
eligibility. The townhouses are situated in a well established
neighborhood, conveniently located near major expressways just
minutes away from downtown Philadelphia.
New
Construction Housing: Phase I housing is under construction
and includes 10 newly constructed houses. All units are 3 and
4 bedrooms
with one bath or one and a half bath, and will have wall-to-wall carpeting. One handicapped-accessible
unit will have 5 bedrooms.
The houses range in size from 1,100 square feet to 1,400 square
feet and are located in the Wister Section of Germantown. The
houses range in sales price from $120,000 to $140,000 and are
for sale to families with low to moderate incomes. View
